A Global Tradition Since 1905
The Senior Golfers Society is an international society which started in the USA in 1905.
Since then, Societies have been established in Canada, Great Britain, France, South Africa, Chile and Australia.
Each of the Australian states, and the ACT have established Senior Golfers Societies and all are affiliated with the national body.
The SGS NSW has five Life Members of the Society.
Doug Cameron (Newcastle GC); Gil Coles (Elanora CC); John Higson (dec) (The Australian GC) and David Stuart (Pymble GC). Wal Macdonald (Killara GC) was awarded Life Membership posthumously
